Avatar: The Way of IHL

In this event, we'll be taking a deeper dive into Avatar: The Way of Water and learning more about its humanitarian and environmental messages. Attendees do not need any prior knowledge of the movie, and we will not be spoiling the film beyond what's already shared in trailers. All attendees will receive 1 volunteer hour for participating in this event, provided that they stay and participate from start to finish.

The agenda starts with an interactive, educational presentation where attendees will learn about International Humanitarian Law and how the environment is affected during armed conflict. After this, attendees will be broken into teams, where they will rotate through different "booths"/breakout rooms where they will complete an activity related to Avatar. Prizes are available to the team who finishes all activities first.
